Duff McKagan’s Lighthouse tour set for 3 UK dates

Rock n Roll Hall of Fame-er and, more recently, acclaimed American songwriter Duff McKagan has released details of his 2024 Lighthouse tour, including 3 dates in the UK.

Following the release of his 4th fully fledged solo record, Lighthouse, McKagan will jump the pond for a European tour the takes in Manchester, Glasgow and London this October.

Picking up from where 2019’s Tenderness left us, Lighthouse offers listeners further retrospection on the beloved bass players life and a level of vulnerability that you don’t often associate with 80’s era rockstars. Though wrapped in roots, gospel and folk elements there’s still no mistaking Lighthouse as anything other than a rock album. A Duff McKagan rock album at that, where we’ve come to expect the odd hit of punk rock energy that he’s been a consistent source of throughout his career, from The Fastbacks, through to his GnR vocal contributions and earlier solo recordings. Lighthouse is a big record. Big heart, big piano and, of course, big riffs. In the case of Hope those riffs come from the one and only Slash.

Further guest appearances stack up toward the albums end with Jerry Cantrell and Iggy Pop closing out the record.

Duff McKagan plays Manchester’s Academy 2 on 3rd October 2024.
