Tramlines is back for summer 2025, ready to transform Hillsborough Park into the UK’s festival hotspot from Friday 25th to Sunday 27th July. Now in its 17th year, the three-day event ups its capacity to around 50,000, packing the lineup with an eclectic mix of indie, rock, electronic, hip‑hop, folk and beyond.
The first wave of headliners is an early contender for strongest Tramlines roster to date, featuring Sheffield favourites alongside national heavyweights. The initial announcement includes: Pulp, Spiritualized, Baxter Dury, John Grant, Fat White Family, Franz Ferdinand, Kasabian, Jake Bugg, Natasha Bedingfield, The Lathums, Scouting For Girls, CMAT and more.
Locals will be pleased to spot The Reytons, Oracle Sisters, Heather Small, I Monster, and plenty of emerging Sheffield talent woven into the billing. Tramlines has always championed its community roots, combining big names with homegrown acts to create a uniquely inclusive atmosphere.

Why it stands out:
- Eclectic headliners: From Britpop icons to indie cult favourites, this year’s lineup celebrates both classic and contemporary.
- Local heartbeat: Sheffield artists are given prime-stage focus alongside national headliners—a long-standing Tramlines tradition.
- Growing legacy: From free beginnings in 2009, Tramlines has evolved into a major metropolitan festival, with sell-outs and awards recognition along the way.
What to expect:
Three days of vibrant main stage performances, diverse side stages pouring local flavours, immersive food and art zones, and that unmistakable Tramlines community charm. Whether you’re here for nostalgia or discovering new sounds, Sheffield’s summer showcase remains a must-attend.
